Hi Ashish,

Is Soap Api used these days in companies?

I have heard even companies are moving from Rest Api to GraphQl.

I am actually preparing for SoapUI interviews, so not sure whats the current market trend like if the interviewer asks me on the kind of applications I have worked on, so wondering what kind of apps use Soap Api. Rest Api I know is widely used.

Soap based APIs are not in very much use these days. More than 70% of APIs these days are based on Rest Architecture. All the big players in the market uses rest based APIs as working with JSON is easier as well as flexible compared to XML. You can also check the Introduction video to Restassured. In the the very first video there is detailed discussion.
